Bosch offers Power Tools and high battery, efficiency, potency and versatility Tools

• More than 25 innovations had been incorporated by the firm for different applications, assures Roberto Domínguez, director of the Power Tools division in Bosch Mexico.

• The products count with avant-garde technology.

The state-of-the-art technology of the power tools and battery tools implemented by Bosch is characterized by giving to the user ergonomic solutions with higher efficiency, potency, an easier use, less weigh and size, just as a reduced vibration level.

From that point, the Power Tools division of Robert Bosch Mexico has introduced to the national Market 25 innovative products to work over concrete, wood and metal.

With basis on the previous, the firm has developed power and battery tools for professionals of the industry as well as for independent workers and who design and create products in home or realize labors of preventive and corrective maintenance in a domestic or business level, informed the director of the mentioned division, integrated by the Brands Skil, Dremel and Bosch, Roberto Domínguez.

After pointing the premise of the division, which is to innovate and evolve in all the segments and applications, he stood out that his operation is distributed on 21% in the metal segment, 23% on the wood segment and 56% on the concrete segment.

After comparing the advantages of the ion battery tools against the nickel cadmium ones, resumed that the benefit is a higher productivity because of the duration of the charge, being compacts and lights, their autonomy and an excellent performance, although a low noise level.

Domínguez established that the rhythm of the worldwide Market of battery tools is increasing with a predicted growth of 38% for 2010, equivalent to the 200 million of tools. The Latin America Market shows a lag on the tendency, since the past year only absorbed 9%, tough it is possible to experiment a 15% growth on 2015.

Example of a tool that confers durability, performance and ergonomic benefits is the metals cutter GCO 2000, which Bosch has available for the national Market.

Another segment in which the division is distinguished by offering modern equipments, are the measurement equipments, detection and stabilization, in which has strengthened itself with the incorporation of the firm CST/berger to the Bosch Group. For this Market, we have projected a growth between 2008 and 2015, nine times higher than Power Tools products.

The accessories, like chop saws and drill bits for an expanded range of services, represent a segment in which Bosch with more than 200 active patents registers a growth rhythm of 50% in the Mexican Market.

The positioning of power Tools in Mexico by Bosch, are distributed like this: 40% for the industry and professionals, on 50% for the autonomous service providers and the remaining 10% for users in home workshops.

Among the promotion actions implemented so the users can be trained for a good operation and achieve a higher output of the equipment, Roberto Domínguez numbered the labors of the program Dremel Expert, dedicated to prepare to distributors and the sales strength, train new and potential users from vocational schools, also to designers, architects, sculptures and engineers, make visits to manufacture Plants, although count with a training campus with an interactive Portal with access in many languages, including Spanish, and which is set out with more than 3,000 topics.

The Bosch service network, assisted actually with a fleet of trucks equipped for the training for a better use of the tools, is constituted by 115 service centers with coverage in all the national territory.
